Fruits – fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned

Vegetables – fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned

Whole grains – amaranth, barley, brown rice, oats, quinoa, millet, whole wheat.

Nuts & seeds – almonds, cashews, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pecans, pine nuts, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, unsweetened almond milk, nut butter

Legumes – canned or dried; black beans, black eyed peas, cannellini beans, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), great northern beans, kidney beans, lentils, pinto beans, split peas

Oils – avocado, coconut, grapeseed, olive, peanut, sesame, walnut, vegetable

Beverages – water, 100% fruit juice, 100% vegetable juice, mixtures of 100% fruit and vegetable juices, unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk or soy milk

Seasonings – herbs, spices, salt, pepper, unsweetened coconut flakes, other natural seasonings

Soy products to include tofu

Meat & animal products– pork, beef, buffalo, poultry, eggs, fish, lamb, lard, shortening

Dairy products – butter, cheese, cream, milk, yogurt, ice cream

Sweeteners – sugar, agave nectar, artificial sweeteners, brown rice syrup, cane juice, honey, molasses, raw sugar, syrups
