Addressing the Spirit of Oppression
The Truth In The Spirit, the ministry that oversees the Invitation Movement, is based on the Peninsula in Virginia. This area comprises many cities to include Hampton, Newport News and Yorktown. It is part of the birth region of America, with Hampton being the 2nd landing of the British colonists in 1607.
We've been standing against the spirit of oppression in the region for 20 years. From being an entry point for slavery 400 years ago, to gun violence today, this region is key to turning the nation back to God. A stronghold of oppression in the nation has been established in this region, but a network of ministers and intercessors has also been established, and the Word of God has been released from these shores across the nation and around the world!
In this season, we are connecting the powerful moves of God through His people all over this region into one local movement--The Invitation: Peninsula!
